We chose this place based on the yelp reviews. It is attached to a gas station. We almost didn't see it as we were driving by and hesitated getting out of the car as the area seemed a bit sketchy.
There is a self serve salsa bar with limes, green salsa, red salsa and pickled veggies. We ordered the chile relleno and super burrito with carne asada. Both came out in about 5 minutes with some warm tortillas. We loved that the food was authentic Mexican rather than the Americanized version.
I would definitely come here again if I lived closer. -

You'll never hear someone say that they didn't like a whole in the wall type of place! Rodolfos is no different, the only way you know it's there is if you happen to notice the small "Rodolfos" sign off the main road! Then you need to look along the wall of the gas station market and there you will see a list of items on the window; scrolling ads for menudo every day, birria every day and breakfast served all day!!!
today i ordered the carne asada breakfast burrito and it was delicious. i wish the guacamole wasn't so watery, but it did the trick. the carne asada was flavorful and tender.
looking forward to trying other meats including the carnitas and lengua! -

You could tell from the pictures how delicious it is. Amazing place and for being so small it has a huge menu.
If you're in the area do yourself a favor and stop by.
You can never go wrong with a California burrito. -

Don't let the building fool you! We almost drove off before going in. Location is an old gas station with only enough room for three tables. The place was empty when we got there. Never a good sign.
We decided to go in and check it out since it was so highly rated. This is why I love Yelp.
The food was really good! The sign says authentic food from California. I am not sure what that means but worth the drive.
By the time we sat down to eat the place filled out and we were glad to get a table. Apparently there are lots of locals that look beyond the exterior and know of the great food.
Beef burrito and cheese enchilada. Both very good! -

Rodolfo's Mexican Grill....you beautiful hole in the wall you.
Good ol street style tacos at only about $2.75 each. I ordered two carne asada tacos and the bf ordered two al pastor. Rodolfo's tacos are definitely bigger than Taco y Taco or Tacos El Gordo. They don't skim you either...all our tacos were packed with meat, cilantro & onions and a generous scoop of guacamole. They got three different kinds of homemade salsa: a green one, red one and a light orange looking one that tasted like habanero.
We weren't aware the tacos were pretty good in size so we also placed an order of al pastor super nachos. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs last night!!!! Good lord!! O_O
The super nachos include your choice of meat along with melted cheese, guacamole, beans and sour cream. You can customize it however you like. They accept cash and credit cards.
This little hole in the wall is literally attached to the 76 gas station and right across the street from Lees Discount Liquor. Quick and easy...can't wait to be back so I can try their tamales, enchiladas, and fish tacos!
